Bruce Ballantyne Campbell of Mapleton, Utah passed away on May 22, 2011. He was an active member of the LDS Church, a loving husband, and a devoted father of eleven children.
Bruce was born April 28, 1958 in Seattle, Washington where he lived until age nine when he moved to Fairbanks, Alaska. He served an LDS mission in Pocatello, Idaho. He married Susan Willis in the Salt Lake Temple in 1984.
Bruce graduated from Ricks College in 1987 with a degree in Construction Management, from Brigham Young University in 1989 with a B.S. in Construction Management, and from the University of Phoenix in 1991 with an M.B.A. He has been a general contractor and built many homes throughout Utah Valley.
The main focus on Bruce's life has been the rearing and training of his children. He delighted in taking them with him to work and play.
He is survived by his wife Susie and his children Adam, Hyrum, Katherine McCain (Dustin), David, Jessica, Jamie, Michaela, Jacob, Bruce, and Kiana, grandson Joseph McCain, as well as his mother Ruth and his siblings Rose-Mary, Dennis, Eileen, Dolores, Leslie, Sylvia, Gilbert, and Lilly.
A viewing will be held at Wheeler Mortuary (82 West 400 North, Mapleton) on Friday, May 27 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Funeral Services will be held at the LDS Church Heritage Chapel (1600 N. Main Street, Mapleton) on Saturday, May 28 at 11:00 A.M. with a morning viewing from 10:00 A.M. to 10:40 A.M.
