Brent attended Springville High school where he graduated in 1985. He also attended Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University. He worked in the restaurant business most of his life and received many awards for his excellent management and employee skills.
Brent loved the out doors and grew up hiking and camping on the mountain behind his home in Springville. He excelled at golf and many other sports and shared his happiest moments fishing, boating, hunting and many other family activities. Brent was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a testimony of the Savior. He was an Eagle Scout and volunteered summers on the staff at Camp Maple Del. He belonged to the Order of the Arrow and applied his love for scouting in numerous church callings.
His nieces and nephews adored him for his gentile loving nature and kind heart. He was easy to be around with a contagious laugh and always generous to any one in need. Anything that was his was yours if you needed it. Mostly his life was centered on his love and support for his children. They were his greatest joy. He loved to play catch with his youngest son or listen to his daughter play the piano and share his oldest son's success with anyone who would listen. Simple things made him happy. He is now free from the darkness that tormented him for so many years. May you remember him for the happy memories you shared. Our family is thankful for the love and support of neighbors, family and friends.
