Bradley J. McQuivey, 58, passed away on August 20, 2024, at home unexpectedly, due to an undiagnosed medical condition. He grew up in a close-knit family, developing a strong bond with his grandfather, Orvil, with whom he looked up to and shared many hunting and fishing adventures.
Bradley was a dedicated journeyman electrician, having spent over 30 years in the trade. He worked for many well-known companies throughout Utah and took pride in mentoring newcomers in the industry. His commitment to his work was evident as he skillfully managed large-scale building projects from inception to completion.
A man of simple tastes and deep passions, Bradley loved the outdoors. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, listening to all genres of music and attending concerts. He shared his love of music by frequently sending YouTube videos of his latest finds, it was one of the ways he stayed connected with friends and family. He was also a gifted cook who enjoyed preparing meals for his family. Bradley was known for his practical and frugal nature, often spending time fixing and maintaining his cars, boat, and home. His love for yard work kept him busy and content in his environment. He participated in many sports… and loved watching games with friends and family.
Bradley is survived by his mother, Jerrelyn Jackson; father, Jack McQuivey; sons, Cole and Nate McQuivey; daughter, Ashley Burns; granddaughters, Parker and Charlie; brother, Brandon McQuivey; and his beloved Labrador, Gus. His family remembers him as a stubborn yet easy-going man who was very committed to his work and loved his animals, especially his many labrador companions he had over the years.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 24th at 12 pm at Evergreen Cemetery in Springville, Utah. Wheeler Mortuary of Springville is assisting the family with arrangements.
