Bonnie Burke Paraskeva

December 14, 1944 — November 3, 2011

Our beloved mother, Bonnie Burke Paraskeva passed away peacefully on November 3rd, 2011 with her family by her side. Bonnie fought valiantly through her medical struggles and never complained. She always had a smile on her face.

Bonnie was born on December 14, 1944 to John and Evelyn Walsh in Winchester, Massachusetts. In her early years, she loved spending summers on Cape Cod with her best friend and sister, Nancy. In 1966, Bonnie graduated with an Associate's degree from Frammington State College in Massachusetts. On February 4, 1967, she married her sweetheart, Stephan Randal Paraskeva. They lived a short time in the Boston area before moving to Utah in 1978.

Bonnie and Stephan raised 5 beautiful children: twins, Lesa (Dustin) and Sally (Rich), Alison (Brian), Catherine (TBA), and Michael (Katie). Bonnie cherished every moment she got to spend with her children and 12 grandchildren: Regan, Rylee, Quincey, Gavin, Evelyn, Kelsey, Tyler, Wade, Kamie, Karlee, Kelsie, and Kenzie. They were her most precious gifts.

In 1996, she established, A Better Answer, Inc., a successful medical answering service which is currently in operation with 13 valuable employees that she considered family. The business brought her much joy and satisfaction through her relationships with her employees and customers.

We want to express gratitude to all of her employees, friends, business associates, doctors, nurses, and all those who played a role in making her comfortable in her last days. A special thanks to Sue and Sean at the Provo Dialysis Center.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Diabetes Foundation.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 9th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the LDS Church located at 475 N 1600 W, Mapleton, UT. A viewing will be held the same day at the church from 9:30 a.m.-10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
