Beverly Ruth Grove Johnson Kendall of Springville, Utah, age 79, left for her last journey on the morning of August 3, 2022. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona on September 8, 1942, to Martin W. Grove and Alberta J. Boxley Grove. She was #3 out of 6 children.

Beverly was faced with many challenges in life, starting with rheumatic fever (at birth), lead poisoning, breast cancer, and finally succumbing to liver/lung cancer.

She had many interests in life, knitting, reading, crafts, sewing - her own and her families clothes including a full weddings attire in a week, food preservation, quilting. Her most prized and favorite interests were her children and grandchildren. She had many church callings, with the young children, she served a Stake Mission in the Denver Colorado Temple which she held especially dear.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, sisters - Ann Grove, Provo, Utah, Norma Brehmer, Arlington Heights, Illinois, spouses - Daniel Johnson, Colorado, Arthur Kendall, Colorado, grandsons - Jesse Binam, Colorado, Anthony Maffei, Pennsylvania.

She is survived by, sisters - Ethel Ellena, Spanish Fork, Utah, Patricia (Randall) Benefield, Round Rock, Texas, brother - Martin (Sheryl) Grove, Dearborn, Michigan. Her children - Lola (Ken) Sanders, Eureka, Nevada, Sharon (Pete) Hazel, Delta, Colorado, Kenneth (Pat) Kendall, Gladstone, Oregon, Lila Miller, Delta, Colorado, Daniel Johnson, Arvada, Colorado, Connie (Frank) Kendall/Bills Springville, Utah. There are 24 grandchildren (+spouses), and 40 + great grandchildren, and had a running start on great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

She will be greatly missed by those she left, the ones greeting her will have a huge celebration. You were loved by many - mom, grandma, aunt, friend….

A viewing for family and friends will be held Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South in Springville. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 8, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Spring Creek 10th Ward Chapel, 672 North 250 West in Springville where there will be a viewing from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Benjamin City Cemetery.
