Betty May (Sessions) Paul

Betty May Paul, 88, of Henderson, Nevada passed away Friday morning, November 11, 2022. Betty was born April 29, 1934, in Syracuse, Utah to Elmer and May Sessions. She married Daniel Roger Paul on September 26, 1953, in Elko, Nevada.

Betty enjoyed playing (usually winning) cards with her children and grandchildren, golfing with friends, and crafting. She rejoiced seeing her Cubs win the World Series in 2016. She enjoyed seeing the world with family and friends. She was a devoted mother of three and beloved grandmother. Her defining attribute was a welcoming heart that touched all the people in her life. She left behind many great friends in Henderson, Nevada.

She has been reunited with her beloved Danny, her parents, brothers Frank and Merrill, and sisters Esther, Mazie and Mary. She is survived by her three children, Karen (Gilbert), Diane (Steve), and Dan (Lena), brothers Fred and Ben, sister Jean, 12 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 2, 2022, at 10:30 AM (MST) in the Hobble Creek West Stake Center at 555 South Averett Ave. (600 E.),  Springville, Utah with a viewing held that morning from 9:00-10:00 am prior to the services.

The service will be live-streamed and recorded by Wheeler Mortuary (available on Betty’s obituary link at wheelermortuary.com). Burial will be next to Danny at Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park in Bluffdale, Utah. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
