Betty Ann Furse Johnson

d. October 12, 2014

1927-2014

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend was called home to her Heavenly Father on October 12, 2014 She will be greatly missed but has left us with loving memories.

She was born on August 11, 1927 to Alfred Cecil and Clarissa Saunders Furse, in West Jordan Utah. She married her live time sweetheart, Jack L. Johnson on May 1, 1946. Jack and Ann made their home in West Jordan for several years before moving to Springville to raise their children.

Ann is survived by her husband Jack L Johnson; 4 sons, Danny L. Johnson, Larry (Debbi) Johnson, Keith L. Johnson and Boyd (Sherry) Johnson; 2 daughters Sheryl (Charles)Taylor (AZ)and Julie Kovatch. She has 16 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, all of her 11 siblings and her son-in-law Charles Taylor.

She loved to travel to their winter home in Arizona where they enjoyed the warmed of good weather and good friends. Ann loved camping, antiques and barbershop music. Her husband, Jack performed with a barbershop quarter and choir for several years and Ann loved to go with him to enjoy the music and companionship of others. She was an avid garage sale buff for many years. She had a knack of making something from nothing. We love you mom.

Thanks to the nurses from "Hearts for Hospice", Trinity Care Center and our new little sister, Angie.

Friends and family may join us in wishing Ann goodbye Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the Wheeler Mortuary 211 E 200 S Springville, Utah from 6-8 p.m. Graveside services will be Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the Bluffdale Cemetery 14205 S. Redwood Road, Bluffdale, Utah at 11:00 a.m.
