Betty Lou Jensen

June 16, 1927 — August 30, 2007

Our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin passed away on August 30, 2007. She was born to Bennet Dunstan and Ottilie Zacher Dunstan on June 16, 1927 at Payson, Utah. She attended Payson schools until she moved to Taylorsville, Utah with her mother in 1946 where she lived until she married and moved to Springville, Utah.



She was a member of the LDS Church serving in different capacities as Sunday School Teacher, Primary Teacher, Scout and Cub Scout Leader and Visiting Teacher. She worked in the school lunch program for many, many years.



She married Burnell Jensen on March 27, 1948 in Taylorsville, Utah. He preceded her in death on November 19, 1995. Their marriage was solemnized in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple on December 9, 1998.



She is survived by a son Raymond (Pat) Jensen of Springville and a daughter Jeanette (Alan) Robertson of Mapleton; six grandchildren: Elise (Brian) Peterson, Christopher (Tami) Jensen, Shaun Jensen, Wendy (Ken) Girot, Brian (Lisa) Robertson and Chad (Annie) Robertson and nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother William A. Dunstan of Naperville, Illinois, a cousin Loveday Thomas of Cornwall, England, many nieces and nephews, and in-laws Ron and Ann Jensen of Santaquin, Diane and Lowell Bye of Idaho and Gary and Grace Jensen of Goshen.



She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three half sisters, two brothers, an infant son and an infant great granddaughter.



The family would like to thank Dr. Terry Hammond, Dr. Gerald Stephanz, Dr. Gregory Craner and the staff of the Davita Dialysis Center for their loving care of our mother.



Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at Wheeler Mortuary at 211 E. 200 S. Springville where family and friends may call Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and again one hour prior to the services on Wednesday. Interment, Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
