Barbara Louise (Newby) Davis

Barbara Louise Newby Davis, 83 passed away Jan. 4, 2016 in Provo, UT. She was born Aug. 10, 1932 in Lima, Montana to Floyd Clifford Newby and Rhea Curtis. She married Dennis Clyde Davis on Nov, 21, 1949 in Provo UT. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo Temple. She graduated from BYU and taught elementary school. She enjoyed art, reading, and was a loyal fan of BYU football.

She is survived by her children: Terri Snell, Clifford Davis, and Rebecca (Isaac) Hess and 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Debbie Larsen, and 3 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the Springville West Stake Center at 996 West Center, Springville, UT. A viewing will be held Saturday one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.

Barbara's family would like to thank the staff at UV Reg. Med. Center and Provo Rehab. and Nursing Center for their kindness and loving care of our mother.
