Angela Christine Pearce, our Angel got her wings May 7, 2012, after enduring cancer for many years. She was born on March 28, 1964 to Christine Constance Marion Kempees Elliott and Max Elliott in San Francisco, California. She was the oldest of ten children.
She went to many schools graduating from Layton High School and Weber State College. She met her husband Alan Tal Pearce when she moved in across the street from him during their senior year of high school. They were married July 19, 1985 in the Logan Temple for time and all eternity.
She loved children and was privileged to be the mother of some amazing children: Timothy Tal Pearce married to Elizabeth Fletcher Pearce, Amberly Christine Pearce, Emily Lynn Pearce, and Olivia Mae Pearce. She was the cherished grandma to Alexander Tal Pearce and Aubrey and Anne Simpson.
She worked at Weber State College, owned and taught Little Angel's Preschool in Ogden and was the librarian of Art City Elementary in Springville. She has served the community as a PTA President, School Community Council member, Springville Reads Council and BYU Children's Literature Review Board. She worked for many years at Art City Elementary helping the children produce a school play, helping with the ACE Club, the Reading Club and Journalism Club. If you cannot tell most of all she loved the children. If someone were to ask of her favorite book she always replied, "I could no more pick a favorite book than a star in the sky". She loves the outdoors, nature, learning, books, painting, plays and her testimony of Jesus Christ.
