Allie Ann Jex Frisby

On Tuesday December 16th 2008 our Beloved Mother, Grandmother, sister, and friend Allie Ann Frisby (age 76) passed from this mortal life into the arms of our Heavenly Father and other loved ones who were eager to welcome her home.



Ann was the daughter of Allie Fay Rasmussen and George Walter Jex. She was born in Provo, Utah on February 16th 1932. She Married Gene Eldon Frisby on September 26th 1951 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on July 18th 2003. Her siblings are Bill Jex, Melvin Jex, Sterling Jex, Donna Baabsgarrad, Ed Jex, Ron Jex (deceased), Joy Nelson, Walter Jex, and Blaine Martell (deceased). Her six children are Albert (Kathy), George (Michelle), FayAnn, James (Marianne), Charles, and Gary (Denise) Frisby. She cherished her 23 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.



She enjoyed reading, sewing, and cooking. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends. She was known for her lifetime of service and compassion for others. She was a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers and had many friends there. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many capacities throughout her life.



The family wishes to extend a special thanks to: Dr. Stephanz and other doctors who helped in her care, the staff of Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, the staff at the DaVita dialysis center, and all those that drove her to and from dialysis. She truly loved and appreciated her friends and caregivers. She will be missed greatly by those who knew her. We love you Mom!



Friends and family may call Friday December 19th from 6:00 8:00 PM at the Wheeler Mortuary located at 82 West 400 North Mapleton, Utah, or at the church on Saturday one hour prior to the funeral services. Funeral services will be held Saturday December 20th 2008 11:00 AM at the Canyon Pointe Chapel at 2162 E. Canyon Road in Spanish Fork, Utah. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
