Alan Gerald Nelson, or “Ted” as he liked to be called, was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on September 13, 1970 to Dean and Carma Aird Nelson. In his early childhood he smiled so much his great grandma worried he couldn't close his mouth.

Alan was called to serve in the Independence, Missouri Sign Language mission and received a 2nd call to Sacramento, California.
When he returned home from his mission he met the love of his life and eternal companion in his bedroom. (Yes, Cynthia)
His greatest accomplishments were his children. He loved them so much he got involved in theater through their school and then the community. He always said his kids got their talent from him because he didn't have any.
Alan went to Rick's College where he took one class in Wordperfect which sent him on an adventure of working for: Wordperfect/Novel/Corel. RSI (in Georgia). Henry Schein Practice Solutions, Dentrix (American Fork).
Alan was an incredible husband and father. He welcomed everyone and served his fellow men with his whole heart. One of the funniest guys you will ever know.
