Adam Christopher Young of Sandy, Utah passed away April 3rd, 2023. Adam was born January 12, 1987 to Richard and Janet Young in Logan, Utah. He had five older brothers and two older sisters. Adam married the love of his life Lindsay St. Clair on January 16, 2010, at the Draper Utah Temple. She preceded him in death, in December of 2022. They had two boys whom they loved very much.
Adam grew up in North Logan, Utah and later moved to Mapleton, Utah where he attended Springville High School and played on the high school soccer team. Adam served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Chile Viña Del Mar Mission. Following his mission he attended Utah Valley University. Adam’s early career was focused on multiple entrepreneurial opportunities which helped prepare him to own and manage his own landscape construction company. His business specialized in building residential outdoor living spaces. Adam loved spending time on the beach and lake, especially with his wife and boys. Adam enjoyed soccer, snowboarding, wakesurfing, and spending time outdoors. Adam has a lot of family and friends who love and miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be held Saturday April 15th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints chapel located at 970 N 400 E, Mapleton, UT. Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM and a private family viewing will be from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Funeral service will begin at 12:30 PM. Interment, Mapleton Cemetery.
